to make the combat less dull it would be great to see some kind of skill system in the future that would maybe even add a learning curve to combat. id like to see something that is a little faster paced that you would use before and during combat, like something that boosts str for x time, or something that increases def, maybe even a toggle type option that youd use to choose to slash or stab (one would be more effective on certain mobs etc)
charge skills/attacks would be cool too like a few different skills for each class that you can upgrade through a skill tree of some sort

im 99.99998% sure that this has already been spoken about between the devs and some kind of combat system using hotkeys f1-f4 will be implemented in the future.
