As some of you may already know, helmets cannot be found in the game currently, but they do exist in the graphics and can be generated by admins. We withheld helmets at launch because I wasn't satisfied with how they looked. That is, they weren't properly isometric. The original helmet graphics might look okay at a glance, but I think it was noticeably weird when you put one on and start walking around. Anyway, so I'm fixing them up so that they'll be suitable for players to own and to wear.

They were suitable before! But both versions are cool to me. Make the alpha versions rare easter egg quest items plz

It's not in the game yet; it'll probably be added in v3. It'll most likely be found in caves. I don't really have anything else interesting to say about it! I suppose all you need to know is that there will be more monsters in v3, though combat will likely still leave much to be desired.

Not a whole lot to say about it. I was just thinking we need monsters in caves and forests, so I came up with some generic bugs, a rock monster, and a mushroom monster. I'm working on pixel art for these monsters so they can be added to the game.

They all look awesome! The demon dog and crocodile looking thing stand out alot to me i really like them. Awesome job to do mate cant wait to see them in game.

The crocodile thing looks like a mashup between a crocodile and armadillo to me - a crocadillo, if you will ;)
Loving them all, especially the cute, innocent-looking porcupine.

i imagined he would drag himself across the ground, but that looks cool. chicken area can only handle 2 (maybe 3) players, as I'm sure you've noticed... so it'll be nice to have a cave (?) full of these guys, if they are weaker than birbeks. I like the enemies so far. Any concepts for boss monsters in mind?

This happy little fellow will just stay put and attack anyone who comes near it. I was trying to avoid spoiling this one since I thought it'd be funnier if players found out the hard way, but I don't really have anything else worth spoiler this week.

No spoiler last Saturday since we released that update (which had everything new I made). Life's been hectic this week, so I've basically accomplished nothing!

Here's a new shop NPC I was working on about a month ago.

I haven't had time to finish him since there were more important things that needed to be made. There isn't a whole lot to say about him. I want every shop to have a unique NPC rather than generic clones. I suppose I feel like it'll help the player remember which shops sell which items, plus it might be sorta rewarding to reach a new area and discover new stuff. New monsters, new structures, new environments, new stuff in shops, and even new NPC artwork.

Awesome! I love the monsters, especially the mushrooms! I was wondering what those were... The game is looking really really good! I can't wait to see more.

I have some other equipment in mind that'll take priority, but a shirt like this as a wearable item is entirely possible for the future. Gotta let people be suave.
